Wednesday 25th September: Morning coffee at Think Coffee - they will think we are one their regulars soon. Caught an L train at Union Square to get across to the west side to get a green A train up to 190th Street to go to Cloisters Museum and Gardens. This is nearly at the top of Manhattan Island.  The museum houses pieces from all over Europe.

Caught the sub back to 42nd & 8th and walked across hoping to see the United Nations Building, but couldn't get near due to the conference taking place and Obama and many other heads of state being there. Kept walking in the hope of finding a 'soft serve icecream' - I haven't mentioned them before, but they are the best I have ever tasted and we have been averaging at least 1 a day since arriving in New York - finally there on the corner a pink van and so we had our daily dose.

When John was taking a photo of a news building, a lady told us to go into the foyer, because it had an amazing globe in there.  People are always willing to help.

Met Paula for dinner at a lovely restaurant and then went to the theatre to see 'Motown'.  Really enjoyed a singing and dancing musical in a lovely theatre. Walked back through a bustling Times Square to get our train home.
