We enjoyed our day in Nelson, and hired some bikes to ride into the hills above the town, where the views back towards the Abel Tasman National Park were almost as stunning as those we'd been savouring the other way, a couple of days earlier. But as we headed back down into the town, we were looking ahead to our trip down to the West coast and the glaciers.
