The big thing that happened is that the laptop broke when I spilled a glass of water on it. It is insured and with luck we will be able to recover the harddrive. We´ve been good about backing up our photos and the only thing we really lost is the Berlin photos. We also had a great map program but it was only of Western Europe and we are almost done there.
Other than that Prague was okay but not great. It was rainy and had the usual throngs of sightseers. We walked around the old town a bit.
I really liked the subway. It didn't have the fancy monitors telling you how long until the next train arrives but in every station there was a huge sign that showed the train route with all of the stops hanging from the ceiling. My biggest problem with subways is figuring out which direction to head but I had no problems in Prague.
Our hosts were great. We would have liked to spend more time with them but we weren't there for long. We did enjoy sipping wine with them one night.
