On Monday, 5/12, Don and Loretta stopped at the wide spot in the road known as Happy's Inn, Montana. Someone told them about Thompson Lake Baptist Camp (website http://www.tlbaptistcamp.org/), a beautiful place just outside Glacier National Park. Thanks to managers Sherry and Truitt Eason for a restful night there.

On Wednesday and Thursday nights, May 14 and 15, the Stevensons stayed in Kalispell, Montana. On Wednesday Don was interviewed for a story on the local NBC TV affiliate, KCFW. We should be receiving a video recording of that story in a few days.

On Friday Loretta pulled off the road at a place called Goat Lick Scenic Area.  Also attracted to this spot was a busload of seniors from American Baptist East, a church in Evansville, Indiana (website at http://www.evvabe.com/). They were accompanied by executive and preaching pastor, Jeff Stratton. Don and Loretta were significantly encouraged by this happy group, with whom they prayed and sang. The seniors passed the hat and contributed $53 to the HDSA cause.

On Friday night Don and Loretta stayed at the Izaak Walton Inn (website http://www.izaakwaltoninn.com/index2.htm), as recommended by frequent guest, Jack Meteyer. (Remember that Don is walking this trip to honor Jack and his family, with several members stricken with Huntington's disease.) Thanks to managers Brian and Mary Kelly for a refreshing night.

On Saturday, May 17, Don stopped at milepost 172. The Stevensons drove ahead to Cut Bank and worshipped at the Cut Bank Assembly of God, pastored by Rich Greenwall.

Total mileage is now 10,420. To date, they have sent home contributions of $346.
