Spent the last several days just relaxing. Napping, wandering the streets, cooking a bit and watching the sun set over the Mediterranean. Not too shabby.
Oh, I did join a free tour on Saturday (surprising how many things are actually open on Shabbat) of Bahaus architecture. The practical, geometric lines of this German school of architecture have earned the neighborhood surrounding Rothschild Boulevard a UNESCO rating.
I really like Tel Aviv. Yes, it's extremely hot and smells just a little bit like cat pee everywhere. But you can cool off in the sea (or with a gelato) and I like cats.
