Stayed the night in the historic Halse Lodge (converted to YHA hostel) and took a beautiful walk through the Noosa National Park. The town of Noosa is huge- by coastal Queensland standards- and reminds me of Sausalito; very fancy.
I saw another beautiful sunset on the beach, which is made of velvety, white sand and surrounded by giant trees. I looked and looked for koalas. There was a sighting the day before, but I didn't see any. No dolphins at Dolphin Point either... But the views were still spectacular and I saw lots of yellow robins on the sub-tropical rainforest trail.
Treated myself to pesto barramundi and a beer- tasted extra good after a week of all veggies and no alcohol! Met a German girl that was even worse than me at pool- it was a LONG game.
