Ok. Meltdown averted. Look at that sunrise!
Met nice people at the only cafe serving coffee at this hour. Saw a NZ version of this cool poster. Found a used tire for $65 and the guys put it on in less than 10 minutes.
Drove through beautiful gorges, wish I had time to look around. Stopped at Paeroa- 90% of the reason I made this I'll-fated detour- and made it to the airport with time to spare!
And helloooo Australia! Arrived in Brisbane at night, so I'll start exploring tomorrow.
