Where I stayed
Posada Total Aventura
When we get back from our tour to Canaima, we check to see if my bag has arrived. Unfortunately it didn't...
So we go back to the posada and hope to get our money from the banktransfer... Unfortunately this also hasnīt arrived yet. This is because of the saturday and sunday and it will hopefully arrive tomorrow. These two things made us decide we wait one day in Ciudad Bolivar before we go on the next tour to the Orinoco Delta. This also means we canīt go with our new German friends from Canaima.
The next day my bag indeed arrives! Hurray!! Finally I have all my clothes, malaria-pills and toothbrush back :) That calls for a celebration of course! So I find one of the Ice Beers they have a lot in Venezuela.
The money on the other hand hasn't arrived yet. So we strike a deal. We book the next tour with the same agency and in return they give us the money. That means the tour is a little bit more expensive. On the other if the money doesn't arrive before the end of the tour (again 3 days) they will call the tourguide and we will return to Ciudad Bolivar. Otherwise the tour ends in Tucupita, the last town with road access in the Orinoco Delta :)
We are now very happy!! We finally have all our lugagge, we have "cheap" money and the next tour booked!! We even make the joke that now our holiday can really start. This is of course not true. We are already enjoying one hell of a holiday :) Tomorrow we leave early for a 3-day tour in the Orinoco Delta. That is in the east of Venezuela!
