So I we went to the banks today, got very penni from last jeans pocket we have, we put it all together and came up with the amount we have to deposit at the Banreserva. That's what the official paper says.
Since this is my first time I do something like this, ........ I brought all the paper work with me to bank to have all the file numbers i have to mention.
only thing missing I was told at the bank, ......... the account number where I have to deposit the money.
WHAT????????????
I honestly could not believe what she told me. The first time in this whole shit I had tears in my eyes,but I did not allow them to go any further, swallowed , took a deep breath and went on........ phone out of the bag, ....... oh by the way it's not allowed to make phone call's inside the bank, so i went outside to call the lawyer. Mailbox, ........ another deep breath. I left a message. went back into the bank. The girl I had spoken with was busy so I went to a different desk. Explained the whole case again, same result,....... where do you want to deposit the money. HERE I said. I've been told to deposit the money under a file number. But that's not possible. The Lawyer called back, he said to deposit the money in the name of the guy who is saying he worked for us, ....... that hit me hard (and I could not believe it) thank good he did not have a bank account in this bank. I called the palcio de justicia in San pedro, the bank clerk, called a friend of his who is as well a lawyer, .......... nothing at the palacio and the friend said we need an account number, ....... number,........... At the end I decided to deposit the money in my account.
Not before asking if I can transfer it on monday to a different account number ( you never know).
Yes thats possible she said, so i deposited it. I got one of these little papers that tells you that you deposited the money, which is already fading, ....... but I see the date, july 19th, ...... oh I say, ( probably it's important that I deposited the money today the 17th) you put the wrong date, ...... no she say's thats ok, on saturdays we always put the date of the next monday. ????
That's when you realize you don't know nothing!
What I learned today, trust your common sense. I thought I would need an account number, but than you always think the professionals know better than you and you feel stupid to ask, .......... don't, because what you don't ask, that's what you don't know!
