This morning was again early wake up and getting ready for the day. After a good breakfast we packed up the trailer and we left direction Alice Springs on the Stuart highway. After about an hour drive we made a quick petrol stop and kept going. We drove through an Aboriginal Village to the Devils Marbles. The day is perfect for it. The sun is out, we have about 30 degrees and a little breeze goes which makes it great for walking around in the bush with out being to hot!!

The Devils Marbles:
They are huge rocks which are round and got there form through erosion over the last centuries. It is a sacred place of the Aboriginal and lots of stories are being told about it.
They believe that are people living in this area and you can see them sometimes. If you see one you most likely not returning as those people will turn you in one of them and you will became a sacred person who lives in the caves which were created over the years.

One story says:
Karlewkarlwe / Karlu Karlu in the Dreamtime
This is a really secret place. I've done ceremonies here. It's sacred place. You have to keep it well....

The meaning .... (Attached pic)

The place has something magic about it and we wondered a little around over the grounds. There are some amazing formations of rock and it shows how everything is developing through out. As we walked through the bush and yes I mean BUSH the gras was so dry and hard it was stinging everywhere. But I tell you it's worth the experience and while walking you felt like being alone and very far away from civilisation. I loved it and was nice to be a bit by myself with my thoughts.
