Where I stayed

Well the short answer is stay. We stayed when we should have gone because our flight connection from Seoul to London was one of the first flights to go. The trouble with staying is that you get placed at the bottom of the list when you try to reschedule your flights. First we were told the earliest was 2 weeks ahead. The next morning that became one week ahead. By that afternoon we had a flight out of Sydney the next morning at 8 am. So after all the initial stress about whether to leave or stay we managed to score a flight to Paris arriving the night before Anzac Day.

A short 10 hour flight from Sydney found us in a very polluted Seoul where we were farmed out to an older hotel in Incheon City - an hours drive in peak hour across the famous Incheon Bridge.
We spent the next morning walking through Chinatown and up into quite a nice park.Lots of war monuments in a country where the looming reunification with the northern neighbour is becoming more likely by the day.

An interesting fact for you. The average height if South Koreans is some 12 cm higher than their communist countrymen.
