So, really not too much to report today. Originally I thought I would be doing some hiking around Lake Tahoe but a combination of lethargy and a failure to find nothing but 'primitive back country trails' (and we all remember what happened in Arches NP!) kept me very much to the automobile.

So my and the Frank went to Tahoe Nevada state park and then onwards up and over Rose Hill to the outskirts of Reno and back for a very early bath at Carson City. Spent the afternoon considering my windows 7 and network accessed storage options: no, really I have!

Just using up all my food and booze so I don’t have to carry it all the way to Vegas tomorrow – a hard job but someone has to do it.

What I listened to. Finished the Lambchop moronothon with a double spin of ‘What another man spills’ – what a cocking brilliant piece of alt country soul funk! After that I indulged some eighties nostalgia with La Roux and Little Boots and am now working through two Longpigs albums – not as good as I remembered but some flashes of genius.
