For as much as San Fran shines in the bright sunlight it turns into a cesspit at night – certainly in the downtown area. We headed out to find some food – on a Saturday night when all the losers were out because Hallmark told them they had to be for Valentines – and ended up in a seedy fast food joint that was so rough it required security. Nice. I got back to the hotel and got the earplugs in.

The next morning was foggy and quiet so we got loaded up and headed off to the woods again. Well when in Ca you have to see some big trees and Muir woods offers that chance very close to SF. On the way we drove through Mt Tampais State Park (bagged) and managed to get the woods just before the crowds started to gather. Even though this was my third visit it was still good to see.
