The last time I visited Prague it was the start of my last big trip and Busabout was still holding my hands so it was lucky that Leonie was there when we pulled into a car park in one of the outer suburbs.
We jumped onto the underground straight to the old bridge in the middle of Prague. The short walk to the hostel was all we needed to be completely intoxicated by the architecture and feel of the city. So much so that once we got to the hostel we had already decided extended our visit by another day......and we both had already spent 3 days there on our last trips!!!!
After a quick walk around we had a walk around the main square we went in search for another hostel as our one was full. We found a cheap one in a dodgy shopping arcade nearer the railway station. Then to the station to purchase our tickets into Poland (as there has been stories of gassings and alike we opted for a 1st class private cabin.

After we found a nice place for a beer and dinner.....we had to choose closely as prices had increased quite a bit since our last visit. Still not to worry we retired to our room for a nice rest until the next day. Well it was a nice rest until the two English guys nextdoor to us returned from their dance party at 5am!!! Unfortunately for us the only thing separating our room from their's we're just old dividing doors with gave little to no soundproofing. Once in their room obversely still buzzing from the night they decided to put the sound system on with some nice chill-out music which I'm sure was good for them but not so for us. They then started to have a rapid action conversation about each others lives.....these went down and down from drug taking until the topic of conversation was their sexual conquests over the last couple of years. To be honest it would have been quite entertaining if it wasn't for the face it wasn't 5 O'CLOCK IN THE BLOODY MORNING!!!! Well the earplugs came into there own and we managed to get a couple of hours sleep before check-out. We took great pleasure in making as much noise as possible getting our bags packed before we left.

The next hostel was great on the inside and our room was ready to move in straight away. The room was massive and like so many times on the trip things do sometimes work our for the best.

Like our visit to Cesky K we toured around revisiting this amazing city. I couldn't believe how much I had forgotten since last time but I guess there was a lot of beer drinking going on at the time!!!

We walked along the grand avenues and around the Jewish section. Then back up to the river where a festival seemed to be on and trams from all eras were on display....its a shame we dad wasn't here its the stuff he loved. Then along the river and over the old bridge again.

That night we found a great locals restaurant in a back street which was great to get of the tourist trail plus we didn't have to take out a second home loan to pay for it.

Like Cesky K we avoided the city castle as we had both seen it last time and just just concentrated in getting to know the city a little better.

Still our first class train awaited to whisk us off to pastures new.....
