I'm just testing out this Blog. It seems quite a good way of keeping in touch.(In addition I might phone Granny direct from an internet cafe; or if possible, set up a Skype web-cam call to Pete, Ben, and Granny at Westfield Close ; then there is always email.So I hope I have got things covered-any comments?)
I'm not going to bore you with loads of stuff- but maybe every 3 weeks or so- might just get in touch to let you know that everything is going according to plan.
Over Christmas I'm on the high seas between Ushuaia/Falklands/South Georgia/Antartica-so probably won't be in touch from about 18th Dec- Jan 8th.
I'll send an itinerary before I leave in a months time.
Would be interested to hear back if you have received this?
