Today everyone was up a little later since the birthday celebration for Theo and his uncle Chuck kept the youngest children, Alex and Theo, up later than usual. After Jason made a wonderful breakfast of scrambled eggs, fried potatoes and pancakes, I went for a walk to Tillamook Head along the beach. It rained while I was out so i got kind of wet, but by the time I walked back, my pants had dried. My socks were soaked though.
After lunch, we went out with Alex and Theo to play at the beach. Theo went in his stroller. We had sand pails, shovels and Alex's pretty pinwheel. Nancy pushed Alex on the swing but Theo didn't want to swing much at all. Alex ran to the ocean to fill her pail with water. We moved closer to the water and sat there while Alex and Theo played. Theo ate several handfuls of sand before getting tired of the whole beach scene - at which point we went back inside.
I went out with Nikki to the Carter's outlet where we found lots of cute things for Theo - all bargains. And I talked Nikki into going to the Nike Outlet where I got some long-sleeved and long-legged things to wear here so I can wash my clothes before it warms up. It has been in the 50's and 60's here but it was nice and sunny today after the rain.
