Today Nikki suggested we go to the Portland Children's Museum. She has a membership to both the Children's Museum and the Zoo. They are fantastic resources for children and their families....and I would have to admit that they are interesting to adults as well as children. I loved the transparent magnetic plastic building set with large colorful squares as well as smaller pieces. Theo loved the water playroom as well as all the lights and EXIT signs, especially the ones with lights. It was fun to see him explore all the various rooms and their contents. Lots of colors, textures, etc. It was also fun to see how he and the other children interacted. Once he had to defend his chosen object of interest from a child looking to take it from him..
