I wanted to see the American Impressionism exhibit at the Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown before it ended on September 16th and was planning to be away with Kara on Sunday - Candae's birthday.  I was hoping for a rainy day so I could excuse myself from house painting, but it turned out to be gorgeous. 

The exhibits were great.  I think I enjoyed the Native American exhibits and the GC Myers Internal Landscapes the most.  The folk art was fun, the building lovely and the grounds beautiful with a view of Otsego Lake.  I briefly checked out Cooperstown with the hopes of finding something interesting to eat but at around 5 pm, the streets were virtually empty.  I found a mochaccino ice to tide me over until I got home to eat.
