I stayed overnight at cs and Brenda's and drove Brenda to her new job again this morning. cs let me borrow her car to make my obligatory trip to Powell's. I had tried to resist since I have piles of unread books at home and haven't finished my second book here yet. I stopped at a whole foods type grocery store and picked up lunch and a few items for my flight and some snacks for cs. When I got back, I started researching local restaurants for our family dinner and we finally settled on the Monteaux Public House since it was in the area between cs and Serge's places. The restaurant had some really good soup and I think everyone enjoyed his or her meal with the possible exception of Theo since he was quite tired out by his long day at school after being on vacation for so long. It was the birthday of one of his teachers, Theo made her day by saying her name (Kennedy) for the first time. After dinner I went back with Serge and Nikki to pack up for my departure the next day. Serge started up my new external drive and started to clean up my laptop.
