With an 11 am checkout, everyone was busily packing up after breakfast. Once on the road, the weather was better than when we drove up to Bend. To avoid holiday weekend traffic near Mt Hood, we drove west over the Santiam Pass and then north to Salem on I-5. Theo had a nice long nap on the way back and then it was back into the regular routine with dinner, bath and bedtime story.
