It was a long day. I had to get up around 4 am to make my 6 am flight out of Albany. I tried to get to the airport in ample time but there was a huge line for security check-in. Luckily it went pretty fast and I made it on time for the flight to Chicago. Both legs of the trip arrived early. Serge met me and we drove off into the first rain I've seen in awhile. It was almost balmy.
CS and Brenda met us at Costco and then visited at Serge and Nikki's house and brought a wonderful sweet potato pie that we took along on the trip to Sunriver (close to Bend).. We got to see Theo play with some of his new toys. He is so absolutely adorable and is talking up a storm. He especially likes "on" and "off" and "up" and "down."
