We had a 7 am start.  We did not have boiled eggs for breakfast.  Mick changed our tires since the garage was not open yet.  We headed for the hot springs.  We went through more cattle country today with more little ranches and houses.  We finally reached the springs around 4 or 5 pm.  The  hot springs had 8 pools of varying temperatures.  We went in most but not all
and it was quite refreshing.

Anki wanted to camp there since she had been able to do that at some other springs.  But they would not let us so we camped in a sort of park next to the river or lake.  It was a bush camp:  We had to make do with some tallish grass and trees but there were cars driving by and lights on the buildings behind the truck.  All the women took the opportunity of getting up early to pee while it was still dark.

Anki pulled out
all the stops on the dinner.  She cooked for us on our last camping day of the
first leg of the tour.  She used her mother's secret ingredient for the mashed potatoes.  The meals have been too good as each of the cook groups
competes to provide the best meal.
