We rode in the truck along the coast south of Rio to Paraty.  Our first truck experience was good; it is pretty comfortable and well equipped.  We are learning the routine.

We arrived at the hostel in the afternoon after a roadside lunch.  Sliced sausage seems common here in sandwiches.  I took a short walk and we ate dinner as a group at La Luna, an Italian restaurant near the hostel.
