Today we will visit Niagara Falls. This is our 2nd trip to Niagara Falls. The kids were much younger on our first trip but surprisingly they remembered a lot from our first trip. We didn't visit the Canadian side of the falls on this trip because we didn't have the proper documentation (Passport). A passport was not required on our 1st trip so we were able to visit the Canadian side then. Today we will stay on the American side and view the falls from within New York's Niagara Falls State Park. We spent the morning viewing the falls from various locations in the park. We also enjoyed the rapids leading up to the falls while being careful not to get too close. Falling into the rapids would not be good with the falls just ahead. We were back on the road in the early afternoon and headed for the finger lakes region of New York. We will camp at Sampson State Park just south of Geneva for the night. The park is located on the shore of one of the larger finger lakes.
