We visited Badlands National Park
today. We drove through the park on route 240 which had several
viewing areas. The formations, which seem to rise from the ground,
were amazing. The drive lasted for about 25 miles before leaving the
park.
We headed for Sioux, Iowa using the
rural roads of South Dakota and Nebraska. The landscape has changed
from mountains to rolling hills. We are also on Central time now.
Just 1 hour behind home. We will stay at the Hampton Inn &
Suites tonight, where we hope to get some laundry done.
