6/28/2010 – Destination San Antonio, TX
Slept in until 11:00 today and it felt
good. The kids and I went for a run around the community where my
wife's cousin lives. We spent the remainder of the day in the house.
After dinner we went downtown to visit The Alamo and the River Walk.
We didn't get to see the inside of the Alamo because it was past
closing time when we arrived but we did get a good view from the
outside. The river walk was very nice. There is a section of the
River Walk that has shops and restaurants with indoor and outdoor
seating. The outdoor seating extends out onto the walking path so
you are literally walking through the restaurant seating as you walk
pass the restaurant. There are also river boat tours that offer
dining on the boat itself.
