2010 U.S. Road Trip – Day 6 -
6/24/2010 – Destination Farmerville, LA

Got an early start this morning. We
stopped at a Toyota dealership in Rogers, AR to have the truck
serviced. The service took longer than we had planned due to some
warranty work that had to be done. While waiting for the work on the
truck to be completed we took a rental vehicle to visit the Pea Ridge
National Military Park in Pea Ridge, AR. My cousin led us on a tour
of the park and we even stopped to pick some berries on the roadside.
We didn't get a chance to finish the tour because our vehicle was
ready earlier than we expected. We said our goodbye's and returned
to the dealership to retrieve our vehicle.

We traveled more interstate than normal
today due to the lost time. We did make a quick stop in Little Rock,
AR where we visited the Clinton Museum Store, which is part of the
Clinton Park complex that also houses the Clinton Presidential
Library.

Louisianna was the first state that we
traveled to that didn't have a welcome sign. It could be because we
entered the state on a state route. Soon after entering Louisianna
we checked in to the campground at Lake D'arbonne State Park in
Farmerville, LA. We will eat a quick dinner and turn it in for the
night.
