Well, today was pretty non-eventful as far as activity goes.  I had a nice leisurely morning with the villa to myself just chilling out and getting ready.  This is not like Germany where the only t.v. station in English is CNN.  Here they have about half of their stations in English with Spanish subtitles so it was nice to get to watch some of the morning talk shows that I never get to see because I am at work.  I took advantage of the room service and discovered this great little fruit that is all spiky and red on the outside called an Asian fruit.  It is totally cool looking.

Then I headed to the ocean for awhile and when the sun is not behind the clouds is when it is the most beautiful because it just glistens.  You walk out of the hotel property and there are all these little vendors selling homemade crafts and neat souvenirs.  You can also book some sightseeing tours through the guys on the beach.  After hanging out at the ocean for awhile I headed over to the pool to spend the rest of my afternoon.  We had dinner at the Italian restaurant again and they just provide really great customer service here.  Anything we want they take care of.

Then Mary and I headed over to see if we could catch some action, but with it being the off season we have not been terribly successful.  There is this great outdoor area over the water that has a fountain with a fire and all kinds of seating areas.  They had piled all of the cushions from the benches inside some bar area to keep them from getting wet from the rain, but it had not rained for the past two days so we smuggled them out of there and set ourselves up a nice comfy spot.  After hanging there for awhile we decided to check out a show that is put on here at 9:00 every night.  Well, let me just tell you that it is something we have both agreed to never speak of again.  We had another moment in Berkeley that fell into this category also.

This was the worst show we had ever seen but it gave us something to laugh about.  There were these dancers that were trying to get people in the audience of about thirty to dance with them, but they were not very successful.  Then some guy came out in some zebra striped spandex outfit with some feathered thing on his head and proceeded to go into various bizarre poses that he would hold for like ten minutes.  We totally didn't get it and they lost about half of their audience shortly after the show started, so you would think that would give them some clue.

Needless to say we headed back to our other area we had set up before, because the party was supposed to start there at 10.

There are a group of undertakers at the resort here with us this week and they sure talk about their trade an awful lot.  Apparently they are like the top 20 salespeople who have been sent here as a reward.  Nice huh.  It reminds me of the time I went to a seminar with a buddy at the convention area by the Staples Center in L.A.  That also happened to be the same time they were having one of the nation's largest sex shows in that building.  The line to get in was wrapped halfway around the Staples Center.  It was totally amazing.  So see, you never know who your companions are going to be and it can be very interesting.

Shows
Yes, going to see a show that you really do not know anything about can be a good thing or not. I can just imagine you two cracking up at the show. I probably would have also. Oh, by the way, I was talking to the Failors about your trip and Brent said he would love to read your blogs. Is it okay to e-mail them to him?
Also, you did a great job at answering all my other questions. I like to keep you on your toes! :)

Re: Shows
Yes, that's fine to give the Failors directions to find my blog.
