After breakfast we headed to the ocean to lie around and be a bum. That lasted about ten minutes before it started raining.  Everyone keeps telling us how lucky we are though that it is not raining more than it is.  We then decided it would be a little more enjoyable if we weren't getting drenched in our effort to relax, and headed over to the pool where we could lie under a palapa.

We had lunch up at the restaurant in the lobby which looks over the golf course.  It started pouring down rain but I was still hopeful that they would not cancel the sunset cruise that the resort provides.  I think because the rain is so common here it takes a lot to cancel things, so sure enough they did have the cruise.  The van took us about ten minutes away then we hopped on a little float that took us out to the boat.  It was a really nice cruise that took us past four different beaches.  We didn’t get to see much of the sunset because of all the clouds but it was great to be out on the water.  This is one of the problems with a tropical vacation is that I don’t have very much to write about.  I don’t have all of these entertaining little stories for you because not a whole lot happens.  I’ll try to work on that so I don’t bore you……

Oh, but just as an aside I have to confess to you that I did break down and take another iguana picture this morning.  But in my defense, I couldn’t help it.  They were sitting on top of some hedges eating the leaves and it was great.  So don’t grumble at me when you have to wade through the pictures.  I warned you ahead of time.

Cruise
So, you said you enjoyed the cruise, but you didn't mention if it rained during the cruise. What was the water like? Was it smooth like glass or was there a wind that made waves? How big was your boat? Did you stay close to the shoreline or did you go out in the open water? So many questions, I know! :)
Waiting to hear more,
Sis

Re: Cruise
It didn't rain during the cruise but it was pretty overcast. We really didn't have a good sunset because of the clouds. The water was fine. I really didn't pay that much attention. We were too busy being entertained by the other guests on the cruise. The boat was decent sized. We were able to go up a ladder and sit on the upper deck. My buddy went to use the bathroom and she said she was laughing because she had to crawl through this tiny entrance like a porthole to get in and that it was smaller than an airplane bathroom which is pretty tiny. We were out in the open water and not by the shoreline. Whew! There I think I answered all of your questions.
