I spent a day in Carlos Paz, a small town about 1h outside Córdoba, in the Punilla valley. From there, you can explore the surrounding mountains; couldn´t do all of that in one day so that will be for next time.

Carlos Paz is supposed to be a tourist hotspot but it certainly wasn´t that day (not that I´m complaining). I went for a nice walk along the river. There were a few kids and families having lunch or swimming but very quiet otherwise.
I then decided to go to the lake which involved walking back all the way - and some, since it´s on the other side of town.

By then the sun was quite strong so I got sunburned by the time I got there. I stopped at La Playa restaurant to have an extended lunch break (even by French standards). The view was nice, the aire was fresh, need I say more?
