As Jacqui, Shane and Miette are away for a long weekend in Tasmania we decided to go for a drive today and check out the Mount Lofty National Park. We arrived at the start of the trail around 11 and took a few hours to take in the sights and complete the walking trail. We saw a few exotic birds that looked a bit like parrots and a bit like lovebirds during the walk.
We drove on to Gumeracha to have some lunch and also visit the biggest rocking horse in the world. It is basically a tourist sight that is combined with a toy museum which was also interesting, especially as it sold things like bikes made completely out of wood.
On the way back we stopped off at a chocolate factory to check out the samples. Unfortunately there weren't many going but that didn't stop us from buying a few bits.
