Now, instead of going to Vietnam next, we decided to change up the plan. We'll stay here in Thailand for several days, take a bus into Cambodia (probably to Siem Reap), and go from Cambodia to Vietnam. So we're approaching it sort of backward from our original plan. It's really nice to be able to be flexible like we are. It's early morning right now, so I don't really have much to say. I had a weird dream last night with Brad Pitt, a semi-lost friend from about 6 years ago, a friend from a computer game I've never met (Kaayla), a volleyball player and friend from school, and my great aunt. How strange. But it's the first dream I can recall having since I left the US. This is a great place.

Today, the agenda includes finding pants, shorts, sandals, and shorts. And I'm not sure what else. We have tons of food that we need to try while we're here. So I guess I'm off to do that. I may write another addition later today.

As promised, here I am writing more. Today, the big buy was some pants. They're Rayon, which I was somewhat skeptical about (I was looking for cotton), but they've turned out to be really nice. They're REALLY thin. And grey. I really like them. Also, I haven't been too impressed with the food we've been eating around where we're staying. It's mediocre (and would be even in America). But we journeyed across a really busy road to another area and had dinner there, and it was really good. I've yet to have exceptionally good curry, though. Still looking. Other than that, not too much to report. I walked past a DJ outside who was spinning (not very well though). I was curious until he walked away and the music turned to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Also watching was a shirtless guy with a VERY attractive face. It was kind of remarkable, as it's not often that someone has a strikingly attractive feature. He also had a lot of tattoos (not that attractive, in my own opinion).

We also went through some other parts, though nowhere too far from our street. Lottery is HUGE here. There are entire blocks of people selling/buying lottery tickets. We also found a small restaurant/guesthouse where the woman thought I was Thai. It's strange; when I'm in China, people think I'm Chinese; when in Thailand, Thai. People talk to me in lots of different languages. She did say I was very handsome though. Haha.

Other than that, not too much to report for today. It was hot and humid, as usual. Tomorrow I'll probably go visit some temples and do some touristy stuff.

QoD: Pants and really good food
AoD: Crossing the street (about 4 lanes, from three different directions, four times per crossing from median to median)
Noteworthy: The man with the attractive face.

Don't be fooled by my lack of posting on your website--I read your site religiously :) Keep the updates and pictures coming! I listened to Keith Urban and Shania Twain today and guess who I thought of...

Ok, so you're Brad Pitt...
That don't impress me much.

Thanks everyone for all your replies. I really enjoy writing these, and I hope you all enjoy reading them even half as much. More to come!
