Eagles Eagles Everywhere

Today we were one of the last to leave the caravan park at 7.03am with Sue behind the wheel.  As you can see Doug took quite a few photos of eagles having breakfast on last night's road kill.  He had a great time snapping them in different poses.  No doubt he'll bore you with more than eagle photos when you see him next.

We were cruising along deciding what we'd do in Kalgoorlie for the next few days.  We'd just changed driver's after refueling when we had a phone call from Lori that sent us flying straight back to Katanning.  We drove 1177km's and were on the road for 14 hours and 5 minutes arriving in Katanning at 9.08pm very hungry and tired.

Saw one of the most magnificent sunset as we were heading into Ravensthorpe, red clouds through the black shadowed trees - didn't have time to stop though.

Although we weren't planning on being home it was lovely to have the light on and a few flowers in the house for us.  Thanks Tenelle.

Sorry for the delay with the last few news pods but sadly Doug's Auntie Win passed away, hence the rush at the end to get home.
