got up bright and early so we can get to mariveles without a hitch. we had a quick breakfast at the resort, then checked out. i still have to make it work!

i wasn't late for work, but if i had been, it would all have been worth it. mariveles is wonderful! the way to the town proper is riddled with fantastic landscapes!

i find it half-sad and half-great that not very many people talk about the town. half-sad because a lot of people would thoroughly enjoy seeing the sights. half-great because if a lot of tourists went there, everything might get ruined.

after his business in the city hall, susie drove up to a fenced in area, and we got a chance to take photos of the place. the whole scene looked like a painting; i didn't want to leave at all. i just want to bask in the green-ness of it all and just sniff the fresh air.

we drove back to manila and tried to trace the death march markers again. we were able to drive back in about 3 hours. reached the office a little bit before lunch. waved goodbye to susie as he dropped me off in front of my office building.

that was quite a trip. hope i get to see the place again, so i can take more photos.
