Ok I have to do a better job of writing in this blog every night as I am forgetting what has happened and what we have eaten ( for those of you that are foodies.) Ok so right now we are sitting poolside inthe Best Western Amarillo Inn it is 8.45 and we are waiting for our pizza and pasta delivery. Debbie is on her laptop, me on mine and the girls playing so nice in the pool together. Ok so Little Rock was great. We stayed in a really nice La Quinta. We arrived there about 8pm so we swam a little then had dinner and called it a night. The next moning I woke up a got everyone breakfast as it was going to end at nine and everyone was still asleep at 8.30. After breakfast we went to the Riverfront where they had a really nice farmer's market. Deb and I both bought some really cool hair clips and the girls ate watermelon. Billy I found you some BBQ rub and sauce here too. After photographing five beautiful children at the river front, we jumped in the car and drove to Central High School. CHS is the location of the famous Little Rock Nine. The nine brave African American teenagers who perserved through so much abuse and hatred to receive an education that they were more than entitled to. The visitors center was beautiful and we happened to walk in just as atour was leaving for the high school. It was a very memorable tour that can only make you feel saddened that so much hatred exsisted and hopeful that times have changed and will continue to change as we as people treat each other with respect, kindness and tolerance. After speaking to the Rangers that work at the center, I left with a great deal of lesson plans and a CD that I can share with all my collegues at Dayton Street school. Ok, after Little Rock we had a long 5 hour drive to Oklahoma City. We arrived around nine oclock and the girls jumped into the pool. Small things please us a great deal on this trip and  room with a fridge and microwave make us very happy it means we can keep milk cold and warm it up very quickly in the morning. Ok so in Oklahoma I went to sleep, and Debbie went into the bar to sing a little Kareoke. We woke up the next morning (this morning) had breakfast, swam, ate lunch and had a skype conversation with mum and dad (which blew away the waitress) then headed here to Amarillo (Do you know the way to Amarillo?) that was for all my British blog followers. Ok we are still here in the pool, the girls have made friends with two girls all the way from Runcorn, England (can you believe it, what are the odds of that) I bet they know the way to Amarillo!!!!!
