From Cassie - Started off the beautiful morning with a walk on the beach at Plum Bay (a 2 minute drive from the villa).  Although it's a public beach it is not widely used, as it is quiet and secluded has has "no service" - which means there are no hotels, bathrooms and beach chairs to rent for the day.  It's just 100% gorgeous.

We went into town to get dessert from the french bakery (for after dinner), and then headed back to the villa to relax by our pool for the day.  David bought "floaties" (luxury air mattresses) for the pool yesterday.  His remedy for me being too hot and having to get in the pool every few minutes to cool off.  This way we can stay cooled off.  My man is a genius!  We did spend the afternoon IN the pool.  It was awesome, but we also got a little too much sun, even with reapplying sunscreen frequently.

We then took to reading and relaxing in the shade of the gazebo.  We both started getting so sleepy that we thought - "Let's just take a quick little nap".  That turned into an hour and a half later and we had practically missed the dinner hour.  Needless-to-say this is exactly what we are supposed to "do" on vacation!!!

We decided to call it an early night and enjoyed our desserts (from the bakery) in bed.  Doesn't get much better than that.

From David - My day started out great!  Beautiful morning to take pics, right after sunrise.  We had a pretty good storm come through at night so everything was wet.  Made for a nice, hot humid morning (just the way I like it) and a great time to take some wet flower pics.  I like mornings that I can take pictures... feels like I'm starting the day out right.  Meanwhile, Cassie made me a wonderful breakfast (yes, she's very good to me).

We headed for Plum Bay for a morning walk.  Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.

We headed to Marigot to get to get an evening desert and do some light shopping in the rain.

The previous days air mattress purchase was a good one.  Great to be able to spend time in the pool today on such a hot, humid day.  The phrase of the day was "man, that sun is intense".  I like those kind of quotes.

A nap on the gazebo, some pasta for dinner, and wonerful desert in bed ended the day.

Another day in a beautiful place with a beautiful woman.  Life doesn't get much better.
