I have spent some time in Umlazi seeing some really old friends and I am encouraged to see how they are doing after not seeing them for four years. My friend Precious was 14 when I met her and now she is 18 and expecting to get her end of year results very soon. She wants to do chemical engineering, not sure what the prospects of her to do that are as she comes from a very poor family, but she is just wanting to first get the results and take it from there.
I also finally met Mama L who i was originally supposed to stay with, I had curry and rice for christmas dinner, which was different. Her family has had a lot of heartache but it was good to see them after all this time. I spent christmas day in bed sick, but happy that I had finally seen my adopted zulu family.
Sorry for no pictures, the computer I am using is very slow. I will post some when I can. I am doing better getting stronger every day, although I havent been sick this bad in all my life. Asthma and bad sinusitis, but I am on the mend. thank you for your prayers and kind thoughts.
