Vince did great driving and we barely needed the Magellan lady (our GPS- I'm not saying what Vince is nicknaming her, but there would be a **** in it).
We are learning that we should eat dinner when we are near a restaurant even if we aren't starving. Not doing so can mean back tracking and that's not the smartest idea. The best thing we saw today was the Virgin River Gorge.
Tomorrow or whenever we have internet access again I'll have someone else be the scribe. Cheryl
Today we began our journey across America and through our pocketbook. We drove about 6 hours total and now are in Virgin, Utah. The rock formations here are really magnificent. We spent the day trying to figure out why the refrigerator in the motorhome wasn't cooling properly. On the one and only other time we took the motorhome out we had almost the same problem, but we thought we had it figured out. We thought it just needed lots of time to be plugged in in order to cool down. Yesterday, when it still didn't cool down after being plugged in for 18 hours at our house we pulled out the manual and figured out that since our driveway is an incline (even if we use the leveling jacks) it probably simply will not cool in the driveway. So we packed a cooler and figured it would cool down as we drove. It is now just getting cold. The boys are happy because now we have cool drinks.
