After a 6 hour train ride we have finally arrived in Prague. Prague is not knew to us a we came here a couple of years ago to spend Christmas and New Year's. Our first port of call was at the street stalls in main square for a grilled sausage and a fried cheese sandwich (what we learnt is, the further you walk up towards the museum the cheaper the stalls become, as they know less tourists walk the 800m to the Museum).

We went on the obligatory free tour (plus tips) of Prague. It's a good thing to do if it is your first time in a city, but as we've been here before we didn't really learn much. However Colin our guide was a great laugh and knew the town pretty well. All in all it was a good couple of hours.

After the tour we paid a visit to the communist museum which tells the history of the communist coup in 1948, the Prague Spring (which was crushed by Soviet invasion in 1968) and the Velvet Revolution (The bloodless over throw of the Communist regime in 1989) .

The following morning we took a bus out to Kutna Hora. In the fourteenth century Kutna Hora was the most important town in Bohemia, because of the silver ore beneath the rocks. The town now is famous for the Kostnice, The Bone Church. This church contains the bones from roughly 40000 people, most were the victims of the Black Death from the Fourteenth Century. Although it was not until 1870 that the skeletons where meticulously arranged by one man into many different forms. One of most impressive pieces has to be the chandelier. The chandelier contains every bone in the Human body.

We had planned on spending more time in the medieval centre of Kutna Hore but due to the unbelievably cold weather we decided to call it a day and try and regain the feeling of our fingers on the bus back to Prague.

Tomorrow we head to Cesky Krumlov.
