Yet another train from Nice to Menton further along the French Riviera. We arrived in Menton at 8 in the morning this time somehow with even less information than we had in Toulouse. All we new was that there was a campsite here somewhere. We really really really hoped that it was open and not full.

After half an hour of searching around the train station for an information center, we found a map on the other side of a advertisement board. It had the campsite and if the 24hours of constant train travel hadn't buggered our brains to much we shouldn't have to much trouble finding it.
After getting confused through the small market, we started heading up the hill. Surly it cant be to bad. Its just a hill. The signs to the campsite pointed to a small narrow path between some houses. Only a few steps for now, we turned the corner to see the steps of repentance in front of us. A zig zag of roughly 400 vertical steps, in the spring sunshine with our jackets on and our suddenly very very heavy backpacks on. It took us roughly half an hour a couple of liters of sweat each and a few breaks along the way, but it was worth it to reach our Olive grove campsite heaven.
