We went for a day trip to Cadiz, our first impression was, "We hate it". We had got off the bus early in the new city, as we didn't know it went to the old town. That was until we started exploring the old town with its 3000 year old history. It really started to appeal to us.

Cadiz is the oldest city in western Europe. It goes back to 1100BC, founded by the Phoenicians.

We are glad Cadiz hasn't been to spoilt by tourists in the old town. We really enjoyed our lazy day walking around the parks and Dino especially loved the miles of white beach, one of the best he has seen since leaving Australia all those years ago.
