Prague is AMAZING!!! If you ever can get to go there go. I just have to start with this very vague statement and then I will explain why.

Flight to Prague and Arriving:
We arrived at the airport super early and waited almost an hour for check-in to even begin. We then got our tickets, found our terminal and boarded the plane. By luck of the draw we ended up next to a group of the loudest people to ever sit on a plane. It was a bachelor party and every guy surrounding us was already drunk. They heckled us for most of the ride to the dismay of all other passengers aboard the flight. Most of it was funny and the ride went by quickly. We arrived at the airport and one of the drunken members of the bachelor party found a sled and proceeded to ride it around the baggage claim carousel. It was so funny we almost died laughing! He made it all the way around without anyone stopping him, apparently Prague does not have great airport security.
We found a van that was willing to take us too our hostel once out of the airport and off we were. The guy driving the van got lost and tried to drop us off at the wrong place. After we told him it was wrong our angry Czech driver got back in the van and drove us to the correct destination. Two people staying out our hostel said they had been informed of our arrival and came down to let us in. We climbed the 79 steps to get up to the door of our hostel! Yes we counted them. By this time it was 11 and it was time to check out some Prague nightlife. We when out with a guy studying in Germany who we met at the hostel to a bar called "The Beer Factory". Prague is known for its beer. The place was really cool. Each table had there own taps that counted the amount of beer poured and then the table would split the tab. It was a fun first night in the Czech Republic and we went to bed late. All in all in was a fun and crazy start to our Experience in Prague!

Love to my friends and family <3

Craziness is Everywhere
Drunken bachelors riding a sled around the luggage carousel, 79 steps just to get into the hostel, your very own beer tap at your table - my, my you are having one helluva time, Di! Sounds like lots of laughs and fun!

Did you encounter any of the nasty storm that apparently hit that part of Europe? I read about in the paper on Sunday and hoped you were safe.

Are we having fun yet?
You really have to watch out for those drunken bachelors. That Hostel looks like a nice place. Was the weather bad enough to blow your hat away? Just kidding!! I've been known to ride a carousel or two in my day. Have fun and use common (cents)!!!!:>) Dave
