So I have now had my first classes of the semester. I will be taking Human Biology, Personality Theory, Civilization of London, and International Management. My Human Bio class does not seem to hard, and thats good for I'm not the best at science. Personality Theory will be my hardest course I think. The book is very dry but many of the topics are very interesting. Soon I'll be able to analyze everyone so watch out! Civilization of London looks like such a fun and interesting course we go on at least 10 field trips to places like Parliament, St. Paul's, and the Tower of London. We have class at the sight of the field trip and the professor takes us around explaining the area and it's history. International Management will be a very interesting course. The professor is fascinating and there are students from many different backgrounds therefore my class so our debates should be very heated yet informative. I'm of to Camden Market and meeting some friends there. This is my first time taking the tub somewhere by myself. Hopefully I don't end up horribly lost.

All my love to my friends and family <3

going on the 'tub'
At least you are used to the different lines being different colors. Hope you had a great time. Just remember if you get to the loop you can always make it back to school.

going solo
Heading off on the Tub a by your self......good for you sister. You'll be a seasoned world traveler in no time! Those classes sound interesting (as far as classes go). The field trip one will be great because you get more out of those places than if you visited on your own. Are your classes strictly study aboard students or are you mixed with 'regulars'? Love the pics. Have FUNFUNFUN

Well? Did you get lost?
I'm sure you'll do fine. Everyone gets lost once in a while... that's how you learn the system. Let us know how much fun you had.
luv u lotz!!

Classes and Tube
So, are your classes just the 'study abroad' students? The International Mgmt class sounds great. Give them an education on 'Coporate America'. Don't worry about getting lost on the tubne. Soon you will be a pro at getting around London. Study hard and enjoy your free time.

PS. How is the food?

Classes and my trip on my own
Most of my classes have British students in them as well as internationals. The only one that does not is my Civilization of London class that I do field trips on. And for everyone's information it was a beautiful day so I walked by myself instead of taking the tub and I didn't get lost. I made it there and back with no problem. Maybe I just need some more confidence in myself. I'll let you know more about my adventure soon.

Love to my friends and family,
Diane

P.s. The food at my cafeteria is better than my school at home!

Grandma and Pop Pop
Sounds as thoght you are settled in very nicely. You might try to get over to Carnaby St. It is a closed strret with all kinds of interesting stores and stalls selling all kinds of goods. It is located on Oxford St. just past Regents St. on the right hand side. Oxford St Station is the tube stop. We are doing very well. Proud of you for finding your way around. Be Good and enjoy------P&P & G
