Sadly all good things must come to an end and it was time to move on. 3 busses, a ferry and 17hrs later we arrived at our next destination, Ilha do Mel, aka Honey Island.

Arriving mid week we found the island to be fairly quiet, a first for us since arriving in Brazil. Ilha do Mel is much smaller than the other islands we have been to and also very flat making our now daily hikes a little easier. We did however manage to find ourselves rock climbing at high tide and had a bit of a tricky route back to our little beach front hotel! A much needed chilled couple of days.
