  Salar de Uyuni, Potosí, Bolivia

We set off for a 4 day tour of a lifetime along the  Chile - Bolivia Border, saw spectacular multi coloured lagoons, took a dip in the hot springs surrounded by the most amazing scenery, stayed in a salt hotel, felt the warm air of the geysers, marveled at the incredible landscape and finally reached the jaw dropping 2000m squared Uyuni Salt flats. To write about it really dosenīt give the incredible sites justice so apologies for all the pics....we did our best to choose favourites of which there are many!

















For those of you who are interested we started and finished the tour in Tupiza which meant that we ended on a high with the Salt flats. We used Tupiza tours who were excellent.

Thanks to Phil and Sarah for convincing us to take the "unconventional" route and to our complete group of five including Charlie our translator for the nightly card games and red wine!
