We entered Yellowstone from the south entrance hoping to see bison (aka buffalo), bears, elk, white pelicans, wolves, and geysers.  Over the course of 4 days, we saw hundreds of bison and got caught in traffic jam with the bison crossing the road all around us.  We explored 4 of the five exits to the park and saw many elk, pelicans, geysers, mule deer, antelope, bald eagle, osprey, ravens, marmot, mice, all sizes of chipmunks and squirrels, moose, prairie dogs and no bears or wolves.

We tented our two last nights.  The temperature went down to the high 40's.  Brrrr!

The geysers were spectacular.n  We hit the high points and hiked/walked when we could.

A ranger in West Yellowstone, Montana told us about the Serengeti of Yellowstone.  We drove to the area around 6pm and found many bison and antelopes.

Yellowstone is about the size of Delaware and Rhode Island together.  It's too large for 4 days.  Still we did our best to see as much as possible.
