We walked along the esplanade, it appears to be a huge wildlife reserve where a river meets the sea. George and I walked up onto the rocks to see a huge table rock just under the surface of the water. Penguins live here along with a huge array of wildlife.
For lunch we surprised George by taking him to Flagstaff Maritime Village. This is an entire village recreating colonial australia, with shops and a school and bank etc a bay and people walking around in colonial dress, they walk around giving you snippits of info. Very educational ( Miss Warren).
For a further surprise we went back to flagstaff in the evening to the evening event called shipwrecked. This is a laser show about a wreck at loch ard gorge show in the water spray from the lake. George screamed as the platform moves as the boat sank.
