Wake up, look out our window, it's raining. Shower, dress, look out the window it’s SNOWING. Today was like a nice relaxing Sunday drive through paradise. First we went to the Flume Visitors Center, in the Franconia Notch State Park, for a movie about the geography of the area.

We then traveled on the Kancamagus Highway, one of the National scenic byways. We saw rain, snow and sunshine, all in a short couple hour drive. We stopped in North Conway, New Hampshire for lunch and then returned to the Mountain Resort at Loon ski resort by afternoon (Our hotel for two nights). In the late afternoon we took a gondola to the top of the ski mountain. At the top, we climbed to the top of a three-story observation tower. COLD, windy, COLD, BEAUTIFUL VIEW! Finished the day having a real nice dinner with 4 of our new friends.
