Not funny!! Boy, we were soaked! The show was great, but by 11.30pm we had to go home, we had poncho's ( Umbrellas were not allowed in) but eventually water gets inside and it becomes a question of what is better, Home with a nice Bourbon & Coke or a wet Arse. you know what we chose.!!
Next morning it all turned around again, today a nice day. So we decided to see a bit around here of the local scenery. We visited the American war cemetery in Margraten. A really impressive place, very well maintained. all Marble crosses, nearly 10.000 of them. Nice views of the country side, We also looked for the ice cream place, Ewoud took us too 10 years ago.
We found it, More around the girth.!! Then tru some more scenic back roads to Valkenburg.
Also very impressive town with a lot of history, and the tallest mountain in Holland.
Anyway not such a bad time here after all.
Tomorrow back to Rotterdam, getting ready for our trip back to Australia.
