Bulgaria
Here we are in Bulgaria, we stopped in Turnovo (I know I have never heard of it either)
We had a 3 hour stop over (god knows why, there's buggerall here) to look round the town
I found a place to get a couple of photos, but apart from 'antique’ shops that was it
Didn’t see anything that I would class as ‘antique’ junk, yes!!
Anyway it was wander about time, and just looking in shops, nothing that really jumped out and grabbed me, but again, everyone was heads down and wandering around, still with the glum faces
For some reason we are camped on a camp site for 3 days, miles from anywhere, it’s supposed to be a ‘chill out day’ we can go horse riding, swimming, walking, mountain biking (I can do all this at home) it beats me why we are here, it looks like Dartmoor without the prison, the mist has rolled in, its cold and damp, so as you can imagine a real fun place to be!!!!
The camp site is run by an English woman called Bev (been here for 6 years) they do an English breakfast and a roast dinner, cheap enough, by UK standards, but expensive by Bulgarian prices, still the beer is 80 pence a pint (but tastes like **ss) the coffee is okay though, had my first bacon sarnie today as well
(I could have stayed at home and traipsed over Dartmoor)
I’ll be glad to get on the move again, maybe to somewhere warmer, a bit more colour and sun and a few smiles
They even have a swimming pool full of a mixture of grass cuttings, dead leaves and freezing water, the queue to use it is very short, I think I’ll pass on the use of it
There is washing machines, so I think they will get a bit of use
The showers are going to get a hiding as well, just to get a warm up
The internet drops out a lot here, so I don’t know when I’ll be able to update (and as we are in the middle of nowhere I won’t have much to write about anyway

APART FROM THE WEATHER, IT LOOKS INTERESTING ENOUGH- I SUPPOSE THE LOCALS DON'T REALLY WANT TOURISTS.
Antiques ? unless you know a bit about them, they all look like junk to me, even in England
3 days maybe they are getting you ready for 6 days on the road mate or the driver knows some one in town who is lonely
My brother likes Bulgaria and he has made many friends out there.
Each to their own I say...
